Andrea Francke

Andrea Francke (PE/UK) is an artist. Her work uses social art practice and pedagogical methods to re-think current structures by challenging assumptions about the inclusions and exclusions they perform. Her past collaboration projects explored an extensive range of issues from motherhood/parenthood and the labour of care (“Invisible Spaces of Parenthood” with Kim Dhillon); to the philosophical, legal and practical implications of book piracy and creative modes of reproduction (an international publishing and exhibition project called the “Piracy Project” with Eva Weinmayr). She is currently working on a FOTL (Future of the Left) two years commission with Ross Jardine, to develop London arts organisation Gasworks’ evaluation framework for their participatory projects.
