Antye Greie (DE/FI) also known as “poemproducer” is a composer, music producer, sound artist and curator based in Northern Finland. She is also a poet and a gender activist. Whether it is through experimental techno, spoken word, abstract video art, feminism, and radical ecology, Greie utilises language, sound, communication and voice as artistic tools to fight the injustices perpetuated by oppression. Aside from being part of female:pressure (where she campaigns for diversity in the arts), Greie is the co-founder of the local arts organisation “Hai Art in Hailuoto” established in 2011. At Hai Art, she is the director, curator and workshop instructor of numerous sound-related projects that focuses on working with children. Greie has been contributing to the electronic music scene since the 1990s and runs her own music publishing label, AGF Producktion.
