BJ Nilsen

BJ Nilsen (SE/NL) is an Amsterdam-based composer and sound artist. His work is primarily focused on the sound of nature and its effects on humans. His original scores and soundtracks have featured in theatre, dance, and film. His two latest solo albums, “Eye of The Microphone” (2013, released by Touch) — a personal audio rendition based on the sound of London — and “The Invisible City” (2010), have explored the urban acoustic realm. In 2014, he co-edited the book and CD publication “The Acoustic City” (released by JOVIS) together with Matthew Gandy.
