Hannes Hoelzl (IT) is an experimental sound artist, a researcher in hybrid music systems and an academic teacher. He performs on self-devised electronic instruments in contemporary, jazz and noise music contexts, as well as in dance and theatre productions. Hoelzl has played with hans w. koch, Zhang Jien and Mario de Vega and he’s a member of several ensembles. His sound installations have been exhibited throughout the world. He is assistant professor at Berlin University of the Arts.
