Pioneering sound installation artist Christina Kubisch comes to Amsterdam’s city center in preparation of the 74th edition of her series Electrical Walks, which she is specifically composing for Sonic Acts Festival 2019. During the festival, Kubisch leads “The Hidden City” workshop, where participants explore Amsterdam through its urban soundscape with the help of specially made headphones that pick up electromagnetic waves, converting them into sounds that humans cannot normally perceive with their own ears.
