On Saturday 23 June, Spektrum hosts performances of Florence To and Jan Jelinek under the title The Analogue Infinity. The focus is on analogue approaches to sound that allow artists to compose ‘music for the infinity’: from the moment of capturing the world with recording to the moment of reproducing it through musical interpretation and manipulation. The featured artists aim at a ‘close listening’ to authenticity of the sonic matter beyond the digital representation.
