Fedde ten Berge is an Amsterdam-based sonic artist who understands sound art as an interdisciplinary form that interacts with other artistic disciplines. During NEXT 2018 | Advanced Music Festival in Bratislava, he performed on the Pentacle 15.3 Surround Sound System, which he built together with Jesse Meijer.

‘The Pentacle’ is a powerful high fidelity mobile speaker system, developed at STEIM in Amsterdam and consisting of 15 self-designed loudspeakers and 3 self-designed subwoofers. STEIM (STudio for Electro-Instrumental Music) is an independent electronic music center founded in 1969 which has been supporting an international community of experimental electronic performers, musicians, and visual artists, in developing unique instruments for their work for several decades.
