TCF is the moniker of Norwegian contemporary artist and musician Lars Holdhus. His work explores themes of code, cryptography and musical composition through the use of visual, sonic, built and written concepts. Holdhus creates a world that draws references from musique concrete, hardstyle, hardcore, poetry and digital artifacts. His practice shifts between art exhibitions and performing music pieces. The titles and descriptions of his work are written in cypher text. His releases on PAN and Liberation Technologies explored the cryptographic theme, consisting of digital and physical content containing the necessary keys to unlock the full meaning of the work.
This new work was created during a residency, commissioned by A4 as part of the international collaborative project Re-Imagine Europe, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, and supported using public funding by the Slovak Arts Council and Bratislava Self-Governing Region.
The video was created by volunteers, as part of a project supported by the European Solidarity Corps program.
