Cuban-American DJ and interdisciplinary artist LOKA explores striking, percussion-heavy sounds and sociopolitical themes through her unique interpretation of techno and club genres. The heavyweight has become a fixture and resounding force in United States and South American rave culture, turning heads and playing countless late-night dance floors. In addition to scoring live installations for exhibited works at Art Basel and Performance Space NY, she often collaborates with the mighty Discwoman collective, Brooklyn’s Haus of Altr label and Mexican record label NAAFI. Her powerful sets have found a home on a variety of international radio platforms as well as a spot on the Guardian​’s best DJ mixes of 2018.
