Alexandra Cihanská Machová (SK) is a composer, electronic musician, and sound artist currently living and working in Prague. Sound is Cihanská Machová’s main medium of expression, in various forms such as acoustic instruments, field recordings, and live coding among others, often combined with other types of media. She has worked in large formats such as live multimedia concerts, however is currently more interested in the relationship between sound and space in sound installations and virtual environments. She also works with moving images or broadcast, composing music for film, theatre, and radio.
