Re-Imagine Europe processes your personal data when you use our website and/or because you provide this data yourself when signing up to our newsletter. OUR GOAL: AN ACCESSIBLE WEBSITE 

We want to provide an accessible website, which meets the needs and expectations of the visitor. The personal data we process on our server are the following: data about your activities on our website, your location, your IP address, internet browser, and device type. We analyse this data to improve and secure our website. We never share your personal data with third parties. Our website contains links to other websites, such as YouTube and Vimeo. Re-Imagine Europe has no control over these sites and is not responsible for their content or policies.

PERSONAL DATA

Privacy refers to personal information that can be traced back to whom it belongs. As a visitor, you provide some of this information intentionally and some is collected in the background.

DATA YOU PROVIDE YOURSELF

When subscribing to our newsletter, your email address is requested. The subscription via our website is done through the external party MailChimp. You can unsubscribe from future emails at the bottom of each email received, if you so wish.

AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED DATA

Re-Imagine Europe uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you visit our website for the first time. The cookies with purely technical functionality ensure that the website works properly.

We also place cookies that track your surfing behaviour on our website so we can further optimise our website. During your first visit to our website, we’ve already informed you about these cookies and asked your permission to place them. You can unsubscribe from cookies by configuring your internet browser in such a way that it does not store cookies any longer. In addition, you can delete all information previously stored through your browser settings. You can also install a browser plugin like Privacy Badger to block (certain) cookies.

This website uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics registers your use of the site and stores data about this use. We use this data to create visitor statistics about our website and to make improvements. Google will provide this data to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on Google’s behalf. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data by Google.

VISITING A PROGRAM

During the programs hosted by our partner organisations, we take photos and make video recordings, which we share via our social media channels and on our website. Video recordings may also be made at programs by our location partners for security reasons.

SECURITY

Re-Imagine Europe takes the protection of your information seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorised alteration. In the event of a security breach, we will report it to the appropriate authorities, as required by law. In addition, we will contact the persons involved within the legally established time limits.

STORAGE PERIOD

Data collected via Google Analytics cookies will be stored by Google for 26 months. We keep photos and videos on our social media and website indefinitely.
