Nina Jukić is a Croatian composer, sound artist, singer and music educator based in Vienna, Austria.

In her music and sound art she explores sound textures and meditative states, often using field recordings and the voice as sound material. Inspired by surrealism and Buddhist philosophy, she experiments by juxtaposing composition and free improvisation, pre-recorded material and live performance, natural and artificial sounds. She is interested in creating surprising new sonic worlds that feel intimate, yet universal, while dealing playfully with deep topics such as the mystery, beauty and impermanence of life.

Her works got featured at international festivals such as Ars Electronica in Linz (AT), PAYSAGES | COMPOSÉS in Grenoble (FR) and shut up and listen! in Vienna (AT), as well as prominent radio stations. She participated in the community music project “On the Road with Tschick” by the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper) as the electronic music composer and performer.
