Marshall Trammell

Marshall Trammell is a self-styled Music Research Strategist based in the US.
As an experimental/creative music percussionist, composer, sound installation artist, Trammell performs with In Defense of Memory (IDOM), featuring Laura Ortman & Carlos Santistevan, White People Killed Them (SIGE Records), featuring Raven Chacon & John Dietrich, Rob Magill (Weird Cry Records), MurderMurder, and an array of international improvisers and participants in his community engagement Insurgent Learning Workshop (ILWs) and Black Fighting Formations (BFF) series.
Some of his works include The Moon Is Down: The Status Quo Is My Enemy (performance developed for the Borealis Festival, Bergen, Norway), Eleven Postures: for Burn the Temples/Break Up Bells (performance and film, directed by Matt Volla), and Performing Political Education: For Friends (installation at the San Francisco Contemporary Jewish Museum).
