George is artist from Scotland, working across film, performance, poetry, music and installation. For the past few years he has been collaborating with volcanoes, interviewing them and bringing books of people’s regrets to burn in their mouths. He has presented at Generator Projects (Scotland), Mubi, NTS, Art Basel (Switzerland), Matadero (Spain), L’Orto Botanico di Roma (Italy), Tutto Questo Sentire (Italy & England), Rupert (Lithuania), Camden Arts Centre (England) & BBC Late Junction Festival (England) and been funded by Oxford University, Arts Council England and Sound & Music.

He was in residency in Rupert for two periods in 2025. As a result of his residency and as part of Mass Moving public event, George Finlay Ramsay presents a musical and spoken word performance.
