belit sağ

belit sağ is a visual artist, researcher, and educator.
They were a resident artist at Rijksakademie in Amsterdam and ISCP in New York City. sağ’s artistic practice focuses on archival visual representations of political violence and the lived experiences of migrants, women, and queers. Currently, they are exploring the ways in which embodied experiences and archival research intersect. Her current research project Ansisters/Ansiblings explores the female, queer, migrant political organising, feminist solidarities, and archival silences in the early period of labour migration from Turkey to the Netherlands. It centres the unarchivable, the intangible, and the speculative.
