Fabio Cervi

Fabio Cervi is a musician, architect, and audio investigator. His work explores the intimate relationship between sound and space.

As an audio investigator at Earshot, Fabio has worked on over twenty investigations for leading human rights organisations such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. His investigative work integrates sonic, visual and spatial analyses through 3D modelling software and video game engines, developing digital tools for audio forensic and eco-acoustic applications. Fabio holds a Master of Architecture from the Royal College of Art and has undertaken specialised coursework in forensic audio enhancement and synthetic audio generation at the National Centre for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado Denver.

Fabio is a member of the artistic duo DONLON together with Francesca Paola Beltrame. Their work explores Italian post-colonial legacies. With DONLON, Fabio develops his sonic practice through live performances, immersive virtual environments and collective modes of storytelling.
