Alberto de Campo
Alberto de Campo (AT) is a composer producing experimental art through electronic and computational means, playing both solo and in ensembles like Trio Brachiale and powerbooks_unplugged. Using code as interface, a mix of self-written software, diverse interfaces and analog devices, he frequently mixes things up. His research projects have studied sonification of scientific data (SonEnvir, 2005) and the creation of complex musical instruments (3dmin). He is a professor for generative and computational art at the Berlin University of the Arts, and enjoys creating complex cybernetics-inspired installation pieces, often with multiple participants.
