Antonio Gagliano
Antonio Gagliano (ES) is an artist, writer, editor and curator. Drawing plays a structural or constituent part in all aspects of his work. His practice takes the form of long research processes in which he uses diagrams and sketches as a messy form of assimilation, filtered by effects, material sourced from archives, and from the Internet. He also uses drawing as a strategy to get around the legal blocks that are generated by the archives themselves, exploiting the legal limbo of the manufactured copy in a productive way.
