Marketa Slana ‘s home alone is a durational ballet of autonomous, robot vacuum cleaners, roaming the floors of a domestic environment, completely oblivious to its surroundings. Modified by the artist in playful ways, the robots continuously clean up the dust and skin particles shed by the audience, working in concert with one another while also being programmed to avoid contact with humans.
