INA grm commissioned a new composition from Alexandre Babel for drums and tape, premiering at Akousma #1 on the Acousmonium (INA grm multichannelsound system) on November 4th 2023.

The residency takes place at INA grm studios equipped with multichannel sound system.

Alexandre Babel is a percussionist, composer and curator involved in various contemporary contexts such as modern classical music, experimental music and performance art. Babel creates works that question the listener’s expectations towards conventional musical forms.
