Eva Fischer (AT) is a freelance curator, cultural manager, and lecturer in audiovisual art, virtual reality and experimental media. She has a background in art history and cultural management. Fischer is the initiator of sound:frame festival (2007-2016); and in 2009 she founded an agency of the same name, which expanded to a co-production office in 2016. Fischer is in charge of the production of Diagonale – Festival of Austrian Film and is the co-organizer of XRVienna. She has held teaching positions at the Institute for Cultural Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (2011-2018), Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (2016); and has given guest lectures at international universities and festivals. Since 2014, she teaches Experimental Media at the University of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten.
