Hannah Pezzack
Hannah Pezzack is a British writer, editor and DJ based in the Netherlands.
Having graduated with a research Master’s in Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam, her work pertains to the multi-nuances and dispersed politics of intimacies and sexuality. In particular, Hannah is drawn to discourses surrounding eco-sexuality, eroticism, and nonhuman entanglements. She has authored research papers on the materiality of dildos and sadomasochistic mating rituals of insects, as well as a study of Anne Imhof’s video work ONE (2020) for Rooftop Press. As the managing editor of Extra Extra, a printed cultural journal and online platform focusing on sensuality and urban life, she has edited the words of Lauren Berlant, Franco ‘Bifo’ Berardi, McKenzie Wark, Legacy Russell, and Rebecca Solnit, amongst many others. Hannah is also attuned to sonic encounters and is a regular contributor to record labels, festivals, and magazines, including The Wire, Resident Advisor, Worms, The Quietus, Sonic Acts, Uncloud, and Dekmantel.
