Maud Seuntjens

Maud Seuntjens is a freelance curator and writer based in Antwerp, Belgium, who focuses on interdisciplinary sound art exhibitions, music programmes, workshops, and educational trajectories.

Currently a member of Sonic Acts’ curatorial team, Seuntjens has also been artistic coordinator of Klankenbos, a forest and arts space for site-specific sound art in the public space. She was an artistic collaborator at BNA-BBOT, an organisation dedicated to the sonic history of Brussels. She studied audiovisual arts and holds a Master’s degree in History from the University of Ghent. Her curatorial practice encompasses curating with context, the ethics of the auditory, ecological thinking and sound practice, the transient, and the (spatial) sound(s) natural ability to traverse and touch intimate ecological, political, and social worlds simultaneously.
