Nicky Assmann (NL) is an installation and performance artist. Her background in Film and ArtScience allows her to combine artistic, scientific and cinematographic knowledge in physical experiments that include light and video. Her work is inspired by the sun, taking shape in the form of kinetic light installations, video-installations and live audiovisual performances; and is embedded in a context of visual music, expanded cinema, and the concept of synaesthesia.
