Tuomas Toivonen (FI) is an architect, musician, and artist, who operates the popular public bath and cultural space Kulttuurisauna in Helsinki. His music output spans over four decades, with various collaborations as a vocalist, ensemble player, electroacoustic musician and producer. There is an underlying insistence in Toivonen’s work on the capacity of sound and words to change how we see, feel, and understand the world around us by arresting and modulating our perception of time, space, and environment.
