Bolka & Rosa Menkman – Interview and Performance

Artists Bolka and Rosa Menkman talk about creating virtual worlds using advanced technologies and reflect critically on the power of software and ubuquitous algorithms. Menkman’s work focuses on noise artifacts produced from accidents in both analogue and digital media. This interest in glitch triggered her collaborate with Bolka, a sonic innovator and artist. The performance was commissioned by A4 and Elevate Festival and premiered at NEXT 2018 | Advanced Music Festival in Bratislava.
