We’re All Going to Die, was a meetup addressing the issue of coping with the effects of the climate crisis.

The climate crisis is here, and we are being asked to cope. But how? Heatwaves, droughts and floods, mass extinction and mass migration, the looming perspective of ultimate social collapse – enough to scare us out of our minds. Do you fight, take flight, or freeze? How do you stay sane in the face of impending doom? A screening of We’re All Going To Die – a documentary film by Ben Knight about coping with the effects of the climate crisis – was the starting point to discuss challenges, strategies of adaptation, and perspectives on dealing with the end of civilisation as we know it, as well as what helps to make it all more bearable. The documentary film informed participants about different strategies that people use on a personal and societal level to tackle the issue. The discussion focused on finding possible solutions and coping strategies that should help climate activists build perspective and resilience.
