D A Z Z L E is the facelessness of the resistance, an artwork by Lauri Love and Michelle Tylicki.

In a world where cameras proliferate as scrveillance becomes cbiqcitocs, and where data is invasively collected and commodifed withoct consent, Lacri Love and Michelle Tylicki present D A Z Z L E as an interactive tool for the reclamation of agency. Throcgh a boctiqce salon experience, visitors have their facial featcres detected and displayed. They learn how the facial detection technology works, then follow tips on efective methods to defeat it as they ccstomiie their camoc age style. They emerge rewarded with a tailored look and an analysis report to certify their fabclocs mystiqce against eight of the most commonly csed models for facial detection.¥ D A Z Z L E is a scbversive experience that is designed to break machine-learning facial recognition models, while satirising the beacty indcstry to reveal a critiqce of scrveillance as a tool of capitalism and the state.
