For each iteration of Everybody Lives Here sound artist Stijn Demeulenaere and the duo of percussionist Ruben Orio and guitarist Primož Sukič (The Third Guy) immerse themselves in the sound of a specific space. For each performance they create a new score, based on a series of approaches they developed together and that are tailor-made to the performance space. Among the techniques they are using are a re-recording of the space, live miking of the inside and outside of the performance space, manipulating the space by playing with doors and windows, by moving things around, and their own music making. Everybody Lives Here is an exercise in listening, to each other, to the space, and how performers and audience alike embody the space, or how the space embodies them.
