Our partner Semibreve presents their 14th festival edition in October 2024.

The Braga festival will take in a number of special live performances, with Moritz von Oswald set to be joined by a 16-voice choir to present a new piece dubbed ‘Silencio’.

Artists for the 2024 edition include Christina Vantzou featuring Irène Kurka and John Also Bennett, Nueen with Iceboy Violet, Kevin Richard Martin, Moritz von Oswald, Nídia, PUYR, Rrose and Ziúr.

Semibreve 2024 will also feature artist talks, workshops, and installations from the EDIGMA Semibreve Award Winner 2024 and the EDIGMA Semibreve Scholar, a series of media artworks developed by students from Portugal’s colleges. Further details on these will follow.

As part of Re-Imagine Europe: New Perspectives for Action, Semibreve presents the performance of Christina Vantzouu, titled The Reintegration of the Ear. The piece was commissioned by our partner INA grm.
