Every month A4 dedicates a space for an informal gathering of a community of artists creatively working with sound, experimental music and new media art. An ideal opportunity to share ideas, exchange experiences, get to know people and build a community around original approaches to making. During the meetup, invited guests will show us their concert setups or reveal behind-the-scenes of their creative methods, and open discussion about current or work-in-progress projects is also welcome.

Presenters: Aleksandra Gudkova, Makkatu, Isama Zing/Pjoni.

Aleksandra Gudkova studies composition and is also involved in live coding. She will talk about her approach to music programming in Tidal Cycles and SuperCollider.

 

Makkatu releases on the Urbsounds label and will be presenting her hardware concert setup, on which she plays analog techno with experimental and noise elements.

And thirdly, electronic producer, as well as cellist and improviser Jonatán Pastirčák will talk about how he plays live with the projects Pjoni and Isama Zing.
