As tools in her artistic practice, she uses creative coding, field recording, live electronics, as well as acoustic and programmable instruments. Farzané’s most recent compositions investigate complex systems, natural algorithms, and human-machine interaction, which she transposes to live performance, with interactive installations, films, VR and multi-sensory experiences. The focus of her current research is on utilising artificial intelligence methods in the framework of free improvisation in electroacoustic music.
