Eli Keszler – Video Interview with A4

Watch the video interview A4 conducted with multitalented musician Eli Keszler.

Eli Keszler is a Grammy-nominated New York composer and percussionist. He has received critical acclaim for his solo recordings released on labels such as LuckyMe, Shelter Press, PAN and others. Keszler has also composed several film soundtracks, including Olmo Schnabel’s “Pet Shop Days” (which premiered at La Biennale di Venezia in 2023) and contributed to Daniel Lopatin’s score for “Uncut Gems” (2019). As a composer, Keszler has collaborated with The Icelandic Symphony Orchestra, Brooklyn String Orchestra, Oneohtrix Point Never, Skrillex, and Laurel Halo, among others.

Keszler’s solo concerts, in which he fuses percussion and electronics, including samples, in his unmistakable sonic style, evoke a special state of mind in listeners: one that, according to Boomkat, is “at once calm yet urgent and supremely graceful in its naturalistic flow of insect wingbeats that trigger chain reactions of resonant harmonic chaos and spellbinding atmospheric physics.”
The video is produced by A4 as part of New Perspectives for Action, a project by Re-Imagine Europe, co-funded by the European Union and supported using public funding by Slovak Arts Council and Bratislava City Foundation.

The video was co-created by A4 volunteers, as part of a project supported by the European Solidarity Corps program.
