Kinga Ötvös – Video Interview with A4

Kinga Ötvös – Video Interview with A4

Berlin-based shapeshifter and voice acrobat Kinga Ötvös has carved out a distinctive space in the contemporary performance landscape. With a background in both vocal and acting studies, their practice merges the realms of music, theatre, drag and performance art into a single, fluid form.

Their recent releases, the album Fluid Oratorio and the EP Ice Requiem, reveal a sound that deconstructs traditional forms of composition. Sacred vocal phrases collide with cyborg-like voices in an electronic environment of ethereal, soft dark energy, creating an ever-shifting sonic universe that challenges the boundaries between the human and the digital.

The video is produced by A4 as part of New Perspectives for Action, a project by Re-Imagine Europe, co-funded by the European Union and supported using public funding by Slovak Arts Council and Bratislava City Foundation.
